This package includes AAA's 24-Hour Online Ohio Driver Education Course and one year of Classic AAA Membership. State-approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety and designed for teens and young adults ages 15½–20 preparing for a Class D license.

24-hour online driver education course

Choose this option if your teen needs to complete the required 24-hour Ohio driver education course. This self-paced, state-approved online program can be accessed 24/7 and must be completed before scheduling behind-the-wheel training.

  • Includes 19 interactive modules covering traffic laws, vehicle operation, defensive driving, and hazard recognition.
  • Completion is automatically reported to the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS) within one business day.
  • A certificate is issued within 1–2 business days and is required before behind-the-wheel training can begin.
  • Students must obtain a Temporary Instruction Permit (TIPIC) at age 15½ before enrolling.
  • Course must be completed within 180 days of enrollment.
