The right driving school can make all the difference. That's why AAA developed a premier research-based curriculum with teen safety in mind.
Your teen can take 24 hours of DMV-approved driver education online and 8 hours of in-car lessons.
Choose this option if your teen has already completed, or is completing, the required 24-hour online or classroom driver education course and only needs the 8 hours of in-car instruction.
Choose this option if your teen needs the full Ohio driver education path: 24 hours of online driver education plus 8 hours of behind-the-wheel training with AAA instructors.
Every teen is different. Some need the full licensing path. Others already completed driver education and only need in-car lessons.
Meets DMV training requirements. Focuses on safety, not speed of course completion.
Whether you want to give your teen driver extra experience and confidence after their Driver’s Ed course, or you’re an adult looking to sharpen your skills, mastering the road takes time. Private driving lessons give tailored, one-on-one instruction to build real-world confidence.
