Choose this option if your teen only needs AAA's 24-hour online Ohio Driver Education course. This course is for teens and those 18-20 who need to prepare for their Class D license and for those 16 and older seeking a Limited-Term license.

Ohio teen drivers must complete driver education through a licensed driver training school. The required course includes 24 hours of classroom or online instruction and 8 hours of driving time.

Yes. Ohio requires teen drivers to complete 50 hours of supervised driving practice, including at least 10 hours at night. Families should bring the completed Fifty-Hour Affidavit to the driving test appointment when required.
